How to

You must have a valid account to list in a directory.  

1. Go to https://cardinalelementary.com/
2. Click on ‘Visit Directories’
3. Scroll down to choose your preferred plan
4. Complete the registration form. Remember to take note of the username, email, and password that you use to create your account. Pay special attention to where you have used upper case (capital letters) and lower case (small letters).
5. Log into your email (the one used to create your TCEN account)
6. Click on the verification link received from TCEN to confirm and activate your account.  You will then be redirected to your personal dashboard (user account) to complete the listing exercise.
7. If unable to complete the listing immediately, you may logout of the account then login later using you’re the email and password used to register your account. 
8. Use the Login Form for all subsequent actions including procuring, accessing, using, and managing your subscriptions.

Note:   

• When listing, be careful to only share information that you don’t mind being in the public domain.
• Browsing of directories is free.

You can log in to your personal user account at any time, from anywhere on the TCEN website to complete appropriate actions.

• Go to https://directories.cardinalelementary.com/
• Access the Login Form by scrolling down and either:
  • Clicking on ‘Choose Plan’ or
  • Clicking on the Login link at the bottom of page. 
• Complete the form under ‘Login’ by entering the email and password used to create your account. Remember to pay special attention to where you used upper case (capital letters) and lower case (small letters).
• At the top right-hand corner click on ‘Dashboard’ to manage your account or perform any desired operations.
• Logout when you are done.

• Go to https://directories.cardinalelementary.com/
• Access the Login Form by scrolling down and either:
  • Clicking on ‘Choose Plan’ or
  • Clicking on the Login link at the bottom of page. 
• Login to your account
• Click on ‘Add listing’ which appears on the top menu bar
• Scroll down to find your best fit and select a plan by clicking on the ‘Choose plan’ option.
• Proceed to complete and submit your listing by entering the required details in the form provided. Mandatory fields are starred. Remember:
  • not to share any personal or sensitive information that you may not wish others to access. You are solely responsible and accountable for any information you elect to publish.
  • to take note of supported formats and any set limits for photos and business profile.
  • you can choose multiple areas and sub-areas of expertise/operation.
  • that when you choose a general area of expertise the sub-sections within it will automatically populate either below it or on the right-hand side to enable more specific choices.
  • that you can enter multiple tags (relevant key search words).
• Press ‘Proceed to checkout’ to proceed to billing form.
• Complete the billing form (you may also click on the shopping cart to ‘view’. Note that you can view, add, or remove items in your shopping cart before checkout by clicking on the shopping cart) 
• Confirm that you have read and understood the website terms and conditions by ticking the appropriate box at the bottom of the page.
• Click on ‘Sign Up Now’ to proceed to payment.
• Select your preferred payment option from the list of service providers by clicking on it.
• Follow and action the payment prompts. (If using M-Pesa for example, you will be required to enter details of the paying telephone number, then click on ‘Proceed’.  You will immediately receive a prompt on your phone to enter your M-Pesa password to complete payment).
• As soon as the payment is processed, you will receive a notification on the registration page confirming receipt of payment. Your listing reflects in the directory as soon as your payment is confirmed by your service provider.
• Proceed to ‘Browse Directory’ to view your new listing.

Browsing of directories is free and open to the general public. You don’t need an account to browse directories.

• Go to https://directories.cardinalelementary.com/

• On the menu choose ‘Browse directories’
• Select and browse the directory of choice
• To narrow down and refine search results:
  • Use the available filter and sorting options by checking/populating relevant fields and boxes
  • Use one or a combination of focused and relevant keywords to search.
• For detailed information on a particular listing, click on the name or photo icon of the listing

Note: Directories are best browsed when you are logged out of your account.

Note: You can use the same account to list multiple entities/trades in the different directories. 

• Login to your account.
• Use the ‘Add Listing’ on the top menu, or
  • Click on ‘My Dashboard’ on the top Menu.
  • On the left hand-side menu under the heading ‘Dashboard’, chose the directory that you wish to list in by clicking on it.
  • Click on the word ‘directory’ which appears immediately under the above desired selected directory.
• On the far right-hand (opposite) choose the option to add a listing by clicking on the + sign.
• Proceed to list by completing the listing process including making the appropriate payment.
• Logout once done and go to ‘Browse directory’ to view your new listing.

You can add, remove or change the information in your listing directly and at any time. 

• Login to your account.
• On the menu click on ‘My Dashboard’ on the top menu.
• On the left hand-side menu under the heading ‘Dashboard’, chose the directory whose listing you wish to update by clicking on it.
• Click on the word ‘directory’ which appears immediately under the above desired selected directory.
• On the far-right, click on the orange button which has drop–down menu sign button and choose desired action.
• Proceed to make any amendments.
• Save changes and log out once you have completed the process.
• Go to ‘Browse directories’ to view updated listing.

How to update information in your listing

You can add, remove or change the information in your listing directly and at any time. 

• Login to your account.
• On the menu click on ‘My Dashboard’ on the top menu.
• On the left hand-side menu under the heading ‘Dashboard’, chose the directory whose listing you wish to update by clicking on it.
• Click on the word ‘directory’ which appears immediately under the above desired selected directory.
• On the far-right, click on the orange button which has drop–down menu, and choose desired action.
• Proceed to make any amendments.
• Save changes and log out once you have completed the process.
• Go to ‘Browse directories’ to view updated listing.

Note: To go back to ‘Checkout’ after amending content, click on ‘Edit’ (the orange button which has drop–down menu) and select ‘Upgrade/Downgrade’ option. 

You can contact listed parties in different ways including;

• Telephone: Click on telephone number provided to call.
• Direct emailing: Click on the email address provided to send an email message.
• Contact form: Enter information in the contact form provided at the bottom of the detailed listing page and click on ‘Submit’.
• WhatsApp: Click on the WhatsApp icon and send message.
• Use shared social media and website details.
